In this blog post, we explore Marmo's largest Venetian Plaster retail project to date, at the newest Reserved store in Westfield, White City, London. 

• The store is the fifth London location for the Polish-owned fashion brand, Reserved, managed by LPP SA.

• Project Timeline: The installation was phased over three months, from February to late April, despite an initial four-week schedule.

• Scope of Work: Marmo supplied and installed textured matte wall finishes across 1,600m², including the double-height shopfront facade, internal walls, columns, and freestanding joinery.

• Finish Details: The finish, similar to Marmo's Granito, features an off-white color with black mica flakes, creating a natural stone effect.

• Lighting Integration: Recessed LED lighting was used to accentuate the surface texture, highlighting the finish’s versatility and natural variation

We are excited to share our most extensive Venetian Plaster installation for a retail project to date, at Reserved’s newest UK store at Westfield White City, Shepherd’s Bush. Reserved is owned and managed by the Polish group LPP SA, a family run business and one of the largest clothing manufacturers in Europe. The first of the UK Reserved stores opened in Oxford Street in 2017, and the White City store will be the fifth to be opened in London.

Our works were programmed to take around 4 weeks in total, but our installation was phased over a period of three months alongside other trades, with works commencing in February and completing in late April.

Marmo were contracted to supply and install the wall finishes throughout the store. The specification was to match the finish installed at the recently renovated Reserved store at Westfield Stratford, a heavily textured matte finish not dissimilar to our Granito, in an off-white colour with a black mica flake additive to create a natural stone effect.

This finish was applied to the impressive double-height shopfront facade, as well as to internal walls, curved bulkhead details, columns, feature wall panels and freestanding joinery throughout the store, with a combined area of 1,600m2.

Recessed LED lighting has been installed in shadow gaps around columns, curved bulkheads, and wall signage, cleverly highlighting the surface texture and beautifully showcasing the versatility and natural variation of this finish.
